Experiments and tests will be carried out in relation to ayurvedic treatment in order for such treatments to be used effectively in the future, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa stated.
He made these statements while virtually attending an event to declare open an ayurveda hospital in Monaragala.
The hospital which treats many non-communicable diseases with the use of indigenous medicine can provide in-house treatment for a total of 42 patients.
“People face difficulties when finding the correct medical experts, especially doctors. Certain figures who hoodwink the people pretending to be doctors. Certain others attempt to treat ailments they do not have proper knowledge on, leading patients to further face complications,” the Prime Minister explained.
