The residents in isolated areas especially in Maligawatta, Dematagoda and Grandpass were requested to follow health guidelines by the authorities.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said they would be able to revoke the isolation of these areas shortly if residents adhere to health regulations and guidelines.
“The isolation will continue if the health guidelines are not followed properly. Therefore, please stick to health guidelines and provide cooperation to the health authorities at all times especially when conducting PCR and antigen tests,” he said.
