Retail sales within harbour premises suspended temporarily
The retail sales within the harbour premises have been shut down temporarily, the Minister of State for Fishery Harbour Development Kanchana Wijesekara told The Morning.
“Currently, the only services done by the Fishery Harbours are departures, arrivals and unloading of imports. Only those who are required for these services are allowed inside the harbour premises,” he stated.
He further stated that all those who are currently employed in the harbour premises have been sent for PCR testing, and those who have tested positive as of now are receiving treatment. In addition, the transport staff of imports have also been tested for COVID-19, whilst all methods of transportation have undergone disinfection.
