Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake today stated at a media gathering that a decision has been taken to provide a Rs. 3000 worth of dry food to 70,000 families within the Colombo cities.
"I took a decision in the Finance Committee before 119 Municipal Councilors in Colombo Cities to provide Rs. 3,000 / - worth of dry food to 70,000 living families within the limits of the Colombo Municipal Council. By next week, they will be distributing the dry rations to the people," she stated.
