Cabinet has decided to award a Rs 5000 monthly special allowance to all public sector employees from January 2022.
This announcement was made by Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa today (03).
Additionally, Government pensioners will receive this special benefit of Rs 5000, and Samurdhi beneficiaries will receive an additional allowance of Rs 1000 per month beginning this month.
