Runs tied in Super Over too, yet Colombo beat Kandy on no. of fours

Lasith Malinga’s superb 'Super Over' bowling couldn’t prevent Colombo edging out Kandy in their second game of the SLC T20 League encounter at Khettarama on Wednesday, August 22. The match went on to the 'Super Over' after both sides ended up at 188 in their allotted 20 overs. In the 'Super Over' too both sides scored five runs each. Malinga bowled the Super Over for Kandy defending a lowly five runs yet defended it successfully. But Colombo was eventually adjudged the winner as they had hit a bigger number of fours (25) than Kandy (24) in the match.
