Former Minister and United National Party (UNP) Chairman Vajira Abeywardena said party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe should definitely go into parliament as the National List MP of the party.
He said this was the opinion of all UNP members and activists.
“There is no one more experienced than the former Prime Minister to speak about current situation in the country. However, he has still not accepted the offer to become an MP,” he said.
