Sajith Premadasa, Leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has condemned the recent alleged behaviour of Lohan Ratwatte and has called upon President Gotabaya Rajapaksa for the immediate removal of the Minister.
Lohan Ratwatte, State Minister of Prison Management and Prisoners' rehabilitation, had allegedly entered the Anuradhapura Prison Complex illegally under the influence of Alcohol and had threatened political prisoners at gunpoint last Sunday (12).
Furthermore, Premadasa went on to state that the behaviour was “disgusting and unlawful,” and added that the act amply exemplifies the anarchial situation that exists in the country.
