Sajith Premadasa's camp MPs are currently demanding a vote on the leadership at the Parliamentary group meeting that convened this evening. MP Harin Fernando has said he would resign tomorrow if a vote is not taken and the leadership issue is not resolved today. MPs Kabir Hashim and Malik Samarawickrama have walked out of the meeting a short-while ago. The UNP Parliamentary group meeting was convened today at 5 p.m. to take a final decision on the Party's leadership. However, a final decision has not yet been taken over the issue.
