As the first semi-final of the 2018 Inter School Under-17 Division I will take place at Surrey Cricket Grounds, Maggona come next Monday, S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia will take on St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa. The Thomians have one thing to do: To extend their 12-match unbeaten run to two further games and end up as this year’s U-17 champions. The Thomians have won 12 out of 12 so far while St. Sebastian’s played 11 and won 10, losing the other. The run-up – S. Thomas’ beat Dharmaraja, Kandy and Nalanda, Colombo in their pre quarterfinal and the quarterfinal.
