As a precaution to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 amid a surge in new cases, Prof. G L Peiris stated today (26) that all schools, pre-schools and Piriven in the Western and North Western provinces will remain closed until the 30th of April, 2021.
Following this decision by the Government, the Bishop’s House has also made a decision to close all Catholic schools in the Western and North Western provinces until the 30th of April as well.
