All schools and educational institutions are to remain closed until further notice, stated Minister of Education Prof G L Pieris today.
He also said that preschools, tuition classes and State universities will remain closed.
Meanwhile, all Anglican and Catholic schools have also announced that they will remain closed in accordance with the Government’s decision.
The Education Ministry decided to close all schools island wide from the 1st to 7th May due to the third wave of Covid in the country.
