Several Grama Niladhari Divisions within Akurana in Kandy and Bandaragama in Kalutara have been declared as isolated areas, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
The Grama Niladhari Divisions of Bulugahathenna and Thelambugahwatta in Akurana, Kandy were declared as isolated areas.
Meanwhile, the Grama Niladhari Divisions of Atalugama-East, Epitamulla and Kolamediriya in Bandaragama Police area were also isolated with immediate effect.
However, the isolation status of Kirimanthudawa Grama Niladhari Division has been lifted with effect from today.
