UNP General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said Sirikotha gave its full support to Sajith Premadasa's campaign.
Yesterday, UNP Parliamentarian Nalin Bandara claimed that the party had failed to fully support Premadasa's campaign.
In response to this statement, Kariyawasam said the Vauxhall Street campaign office was the main campaign office which was entrusted with the main responsibilities of the campaign.
He said, Campaign operations were managed by Tissa Attanayake.
Kariyawasam added that the Sirikotha office had successfully implemented all the tasks delegated by the Vauxhall Street main campaign office and had extended its full support whether the need arose.
"The Vauxhall Street campaign office was in-charge of collecting campaign funds. If there is any misappropriations, it should be taken up with that office."
Kariyawasam further noted that no such concerns were voiced at the campaign review meetings held during the days leading upto the presidential polls.
