Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP and Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka slammed Former President Maithripala Sirisena’s critical remarks against the Government by claiming that he did nothing to uplift the country.
He made this statement while speaking to the media today (10).
"He only made firm remarks but did nothing to uplift the country. He must be thinking he can still fool the people of this country. Before he came to power he said that he will do everything in his power to uplift the country and then go back to Polonnaruwa. He has forgotten that now," said Fonseka.
He further added that the hopes and dreams that Sirisena has will not come to pass, and he will not have the support of the people either.
