Six others who attended the birthday party organized by event organizer Chandimal Jayasinghe and model Piumi Hansamali have been arrested today, stated Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana.
It was revealed that three women and three men were among those arrested.
They are due to be produced before the Colombo Magistrate's Court today.
According to information received, another suspect is to be arrested, said DIG Ajith Rohana.
Ajith Rohana further stated that the quarantine procedures relating to the arrested suspects are being carried out under the leadership of the health officers in charge of the area.
Earlier, 15 persons were arrested in connection with the incident.
Accordingly, the number has now increased to 21.
The birthday party was held at midnight on the 30 May at a five star hotel in Colombo in violation of quarantine rules.
