Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa today stated that the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is also waiting for necessary action to be taken against those responsible for the Easter Sunday Attacks.
"We also want severe punishment for all those involved in the despicable attack on Easter. Justice must be delivered by enforcing the law, especially for the families of victims of violence. However, no amount of compensation can bring back lives," he stated.
This was stated by the MP at the CID premises as he accompanied MP Ashok Abeysinghe today.
MP Premadasa further said, “As the leader of the Samagi Jana Balawega, I strongly believe that my MPs need to be protected. That is why I brought him in my vehicle. ”
