The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) led by Sajith Premadasa is to contest future elections under the party’s “telephone” symbol.
SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said yesterday (13) that the party would contest the impending provincial council (PC) elections as the SJB, under the “telephone” symbol.
Madduma Bandara further extended an invitation to the members of the United National Party (UNP) to join forces with the SJB.
However, he added that the SJB would not welcome any individual accused of being corrupt.
