Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Sri Lanka Themiya Abeywickrama stated today (31) that passengers with a travel history to Vietnam including transit during the past 14 days will not be permitted to disembark in Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, this ban will take place immediately and will be in effect until further notice. The CAA also stated that all airlines have been informed of this.
This move is a result of the prevailing Covid-19 situation in Vietnam.
