The Sri Lanka Embassy in Washington DC which remained closed from 4-10 January, due to five staff members including Ambassador Ravinatha Aryasinha contracting COVID 19, will resume normal functions today.
The Embassy yesterday said the rest of the staff, all who have tested negative following PCR, will be at work, while those affected and are undergoing quarantine through next week, will work remotely.
The Embassy premises have been disinfected and sanitized last Friday.
