The much-anticipated Sri Lanka Cricket elections are postponed by two weeks by the Minister of Sports Harin Fernando.
The decision has been made under instructions of Attorney General, under the 1973 Sport Law No.25 clause 39-(1) and therefore the proposed elections will be postponed from 7 February to 21 February.
