The Sri Lanka Freedom party has cancelled the memberships of five parliamentarians who have openly supported the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and the United National Party(UNP).
According to General Secretary SLFP Dayasiri Jayasekara Parliamentarians Laxman Yapa, S.B. Dissanayake, Dilan Perera, A.H.M. Fowzie and vijith Wijayamuni Zoysa have been expelled from the SLFP.
Cancellations of memberships were done after a interdisciplinary inquiry.
Last month Laxman Yapa, S.B. Dissanayake, Dilan Perera, obtained membership of the SLFP.
A.H.M. Fowzie and vijith Wijayamuni Zoys are believed to be working with the UNP.
