Representatives of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) held talks with SLPP Presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa this afternoon.
UPFA General Secretary Mahinda Amaraweera, SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara and SLFP Treasurer Lasantha Alagiyawanna were reported to have attended the meeting.
The 7th round of discussions between the SLFP and SLPP on forming an alliance was held on Tuesday (27).
