The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) have begun their fifth round of discussions with regards to a possible alliance between the two parties in the future.
The discussions have commenced at the office of the Leader of the Opposition a short while ago, with General Secretary of SLFP MP Dayasiri Jayasekara, MP Thilanga Sumathipala, Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa taking part in these discussions.
