A complaint was made at the Colpetty Police Station detailing the theft of printer toner and office material worth Rs. 1.6 million from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
According to Police Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana, two employees attached to the SLTDA had been arrested following investigations into the matter.
Upon interrogation of the suspects, another person who had purchased the stolen items was also arrested.
Meanwhile, some of the stolen items had been recovered from a shop in the Pettah area.
Accordingly, all three suspects will be produced before the Fort Magistrate today.
