Softlogic to take Asiri Hospitals international along with its insurance arm

Softlogic Holdings PLC is likely to expand their healthcare services, led by the Asiri Hospitals Group, into other South Asian countries and extend the group’s insurance services into Africa.

Softlogic Holdings PLC Chairman/Managing Director Ashok Pathirage told shareholders in the company’s annual report that he hopes to position the Group as a leading player in the
region in selected sectors.

“There is significant scope for expanding our internationally certified healthcare services in to neighbouring countries with positive outcomes while African markets demonstrate potential for insurance products.”

The Asiri Hospitals Group accounts for a 15% of the private sector healthcare capacity and the Softlogic Group also owns Hemas Southern Hospital, which it acquired in November 2018.

The Group aims to replicate its success in Sri Lanka in Asian and African markets.
