The Department of Examinations says that steps will be taken to set up special centres at the district level for O/L students infected with Covid-19 to sit for the examination.
Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath Pujitha stated that such students can sit for the examination from the treatment centers.
He also stated that the relevant centers will be identified subject to the approval of the Director General of Health Services.
Meanwhile, it has been decided to set up an isolated classroom at all examination centers to facilitate students who are quarantined to face the examination.
