The Ministry of Health has provided special instructions to the fishery harbour in order to allow several vessels in and out of sea to recommence harbour operations, Minister of State for Ornamental Fish, Fishery Harbour Development and Fish Exports Kanchana Wijesekara told The Morning today (26).
"These special instructions were received in order to recommence the operations of the fishery harbour, while it was temporarily closed during the last week due to the spread of the COVID-19 cluster," the Minister stated.
The special instructions included proper sanitation, regular temperature checks of harbour staff, limited travel and contact, he further stated.
