A special operation has been launched today to inspect whether institutions in the Western Province are following COVID regulations properly, stated the Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana.
This operation was launched to minimise the COVID risk in institutions and to prevent clusters forming in them.
Health authorities and the Police have launched this operation jointly to inspect whether the face mask rule and social distancing are practiced inside public and private institutions in the Western Province.
