A special operation will be launched to apprehend curfew violators, the Police said.
The operation will be conducted from 6 pm today(13) to 6 am tomorrow (14), according to DIG Ajith Rohana.
The Police yesterday (12) warned that stern legal action will be taken against those who use curfew permits for personal purposes.
The Police earlier said that individuals crossing district borders during curfew hours will be directed to quarantine centres.
Wearing masks while travelling on the road was also made mandatory.
