Police Media Spokesman, DIG Ajith Rohana stated that a special operation was launched in the Western Province yesterday (04) to find violators of quarantine regulations and health instructions.
During the operation which was carried out from 4.00 pm yesterday to 1.00 am today (05) 47 clubs, 105 betting centers and 133 massage centers were inspected.
About 75 persons have been arrested for violating quarantine regulations and health instructions, said DIG Ajith Rohana.
Among them are 19 managers, employees and 50 people who participated in the event, said Ajith Rohana.
