A COVID-19 patient has died at the Homagama Hospital(IDH) today, raising the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the country to 8.
The deceased was a 72-year-old female from Polpithigama, Kurunegala, Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.
The deceased was suffering from kidney ailments.
