The Sri Lankan Metereology Department has stated that Sri Lanka will most likely experience the South-West Monsoon from Monday (03) onwards. The Met Department has said that several regions including Western, Southern, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces will experience showers and thundershowers. The North-western Province is to experience light showers in several areas. In addition to these showers, there is the possibility of experiencing temporary strong winds during thundershowers in several areas.
