Sri Lanka Tourism will hold four roadshows in Berlin, Stuttgart and other German cities as part of its tourism recovery plan, according to Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama.
Furthermore a tourism promotion campaign will be held in Berlin to address tourists and travel agents and educate them about Sri Lanka.
He conveyed this to a German delegation headed by Ambassador of Germany in Sri Lanka Jorn Rohde at 'Sri Lanka – Germany Fast Track Dialogue' held recently at the Ministry of Development Strategies and International Trade.
Minister Samarawickrama reassured the German side that security had been strengthened at the airport and hotels.
Germany is among eight leading tourism generating countries which have been targeted for a post-Easter attacks recovery plan.
