Sri Lanka Tourism is to launch a comprehensive travel app ‘Visit Sri Lanka’ in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The travel app is currently under development the Sri Lanka Tourism Board (SLTB) said.
Sri Lanka Tourism reached out to UNDP Sri Lanka to gain technical and management assistance for post-COVID-19 recovery efforts.
In addition to the travel app, SLTB said work was underway with UNDP Sri Lanka to develop a Resilient Roadmap for the Tourism Sector, immediate donor coordination and procurement support, and co-hosting a roundtable discussion with partners on the Roadmap and the way forward.
