Sri Lankan migrants from Australia, Japan & Qatar return

Another group of Sri Lankan migrants from Australia, Japan and Qatar returned this morning (11), the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated. Accordingly, 79 migrants from Australia, 12 from Japan and 46 from Qatar arrived today. All of them are to be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri-forces for necessary quarantine processes. All returnees have been subjected to PCR Tests at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake. Meanwhile, 30 Sri Lankans from China, 64 from Italy, four from Malaysia, 40 from Maldives and 70 from UK are expected to arrive in the country within the day.
