Sri Lankan professor wins Japanese patent

Sri Lankan professor Prabath Weerasinghe, visiting professor at the International University of Japan, won a Japanese patent for Build Angle- Automated Enterprise Resource Planning System based on the superconcrete mobile plant and concrete plant. Based on language support, service area identification and faction alert that helps vehicle drivers in Japan to locate roads free from snow beforehand. Professor Weerasinghe stated Japan as the country with the most efficient civil engineering operations that jumpstarted his innovations. His computing publications since 2010 were the stepping stones of his success and many were published in international journal in computer discipline. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).
