Eight more Covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged today, health authorities said.
Accordingly, the total number of recovered cases in the country has risen to 240.
Meanwhile, Covid-19 cases in Sri Lanka reached 824 today.
Out of the 27 Covid-19 cases reported yesterday (7), 25 are from the Navy, 1 case is identified as a child who had come into contact with them and the remaining case is an individual who was repatriated from Dubai.
Covid-19 has claimed 9 lives in the country.
