Sri Lanka's indigenous community are demanding their rights to be recognised and included in the Constitution.
The leader of the Vedda Community, Uru Varige Wannila Aththo, said that a committee of experts have been appointed to draft a set of proposals on the rights of his community.
The experts committee includes human rights activists, environmentalists, legal experts and others.
Wannila Aththo said that the proposal will be submitted to the Speaker of Parliament Karu Jayasuriya.
