A SriLankan special flight UL 1195 carrying 143 students from New Delhi, India landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this afternoon.
The 143 students will be directed to quarantine centres.
The special flight, with 8 crew members, left to India at 9.05 am this morning (29).
The government made arrangements to bring back Sri Lankan students stranded in India, Pakistan, and Nepal following numerous requests made by them after airports were closed due to Covid-19.
