The State Intelligence Service and the Military Intelligence Service have been mobilized to crack down on religious extremist groups, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said.
Rajapaksa revealed this during a meeting with Media heads at the Presidential Secretariat today.
He said the directive was given as a measure to ensure national security.
