The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka provided some important advise to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic on its official twitter account today.
Replying to question posed as to whether China could offer a vaccine to Sri Lanka to treat COVID-19, the embassy said China had not used any vaccine but was able to control the pandemic through strong leadership, discipline and devotion of its 1.4 billion population.
However, the embassy said China has commenced a Phase I clinical trial of a vaccine against Covid-19 on 23 March.
"The United States did it on 17 March. Let's salute the scientists and pray for an early outcome, no matter from which laboratory, to save more people."
China has successfully controlled the COVID-19 pandemic, containing it most in Wuhan, not by vaccine or anything else, but through a strong leadership, a united nation as one, discipline and devotion of 1.4 billion population, and big sacrifice, which western media will not tell. https://t.co/DBJIuBcFzC
