Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa seems to have found an ally in former President Maithripala Sirisena’s brother, Dudley Sirisena.
Araliya Group Chairman Dudley Sirisena had stated that he had entered into an agreement with Sri Lanka Cricket to serve as a sponsor for the Sri Lanka Premier League cricket tournament.
Dudley had posted on his Facebook page that he was the “accommodation partner” for the Sri Lanka Premier League after entering into an agreement with Sri Lanka Cricket.
He had stated that he would use the opportunity and exposure received by him through the tournament to uplift the country’s tourism industry that is once again on the path to recovery.
