Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa recently asked the people who are obstructing his journey, to leave the party. 
Premadasa had pointed out that no one will be allowed to interfere in their work as in the past.
Premadasa had expressed these views while participating in the Opposition Leader’s Mobile Service programme held in Kirinda, Hambantota.
“So far, I have been in politics in the midst of various problems. I was not allowed to work. I have to say one thing clearly. There was one man who helped me to work for the people in spite of those problems. That was the former President Maithripala Sirisena. He gave me as much strength as he could,” he had said.
However, it is still unclear whom Premadasa had referred to in his statement and what had made him make such a comment.
