State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Promotion, Rural and Ayurvedic Hospitals Development, and Community Health Sisira Jayakody said that Covid-19 patients have not suffered from any complications or side effects after being treated with locally manufactured Ayurvedic medication.
The Minister had said at a news conference that some decisions to try out Ayurvedic medication to manage Covid-19 were made with good faith, for the benefit of the people, and so far, no patient has experienced complications or side effects.
“As the minister in charge of Ayurvedic medicines, sometimes we have to proceed with certain trials. However, we always give priority to the medicines approved by the Ayurveda Department,” the State Minister had noted.Sunny Side Up: No complications
