Minister S.M. Chandrasena last week stated that people should not fear the shortage of dollars in the country as long as Basil Rajapaksa remained the Finance Minister.
The Minister had noted that, regardless of the dollars required to purchase goods, the Finance Minister would take all necessary steps to provide the required dollars.
According to Chandrasena, it was the Finance Minister’s efficiency that had prevented the country from falling into an abyss due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
