Three Cabinet Ministers had raised objections to a cabinet paper submitted by Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa recently, it is learnt.
The relevant cabinet paper was on the US’ New Fortress Energy Inc. company being divested with the 40% share of the Yugadanavi Power Station in Kerawalapitiya that was held by the Treasury.
Ministers Vasudeva Nanayakkara, Wimal Weerawansa, and Udaya Gamanpila had submitted three separate objections over the respective cabinet paper.
