United National Party (UNP) Leader MP Ranil Wickremesinghe stated that now was not the time to topple the Government as focus should be on finding solutions to the ongoing crises. Wickremesinghe had made these observations during an event last Sunday (13).
He had noted that the crisis faced by the country had to be addressed first as Sri Lanka could end up like Greece if the ongoing issues were not addressed.
Wickremesinghe’s comments had been made in relation to the main Opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) organising several massive protests in Colombo and islandwide against the growing crises faced by the country and the burdening of the general public.
