Field Marshal MP Sarath Fonseka has given a lesson on gratitude to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe while also making references to past incidents.
Fonseka had last week told Prime Minister Wickremesinghe that he (Wickremesinghe) had received the premier post since it had been turned down by him (Fonseka).
Fonseka had noted that the President had offered the post of prime minister to him three hours before Wickremesinghe was appointed to the post.
“I was asked to immediately accept the prime minister post. I put forward about four conditions and said I could consider joining as prime minister if the conditions were agreed upon.
