State Minister for Wildlife Protection Wimalaweera Dissanayake recently earned the wrath of a group of villagers in Ampara when he was hooted at by the villagers.
The State Minister had arrived at an ornamental fish project near the Rajawewa Tank in Ampara when a group of angry villagers jeered the Minister.
The villagers had also raised objections to the project while lamenting over the increasing burdens faced by them.
